19 - 20 September 2020

The Annual Classics at Prescott event is run by Winchcombe and Cleeve Vale Rotary Clubs. It is held at the Bugatti Owners'Club at Prescott. Classic Cars are invited to run the famous hill for charity. We also arrange a Classics Tour of the Cotswolds, a Static Display and invite spectators to be part of this iconic event.

About the event

Following another successful event in 2019 the Rotary Clubs Of Winchcombe and Cheltenham Cleeve Vale will again host the Classics at Prescott event over the weekend of 19th - 20th September 2020. this follows the postponement of the event from it's original May date due to Coronavirus.

The 2019 event raised in excess of £24,000 which will be used by the Rotary Clubs to help local, national and international charities. We were also happy to host the team from Channels 4's "Find it, Fix it, Drive it" with Henry Cole and Sam Lovegrove driving the hill in their renovated MG Midget

The event is open to all vehicles over 25 years old but exceptions may be made at the discretion of the organisers for particularly interesting younger cars. Applications from Classic Car Clubs are also welcome.

This is the 17th year this event has been held and during this time well in excess of £250,000 has been raised for a wide variety of Rotary charities.

Saturday 19th September Cotswold Tour

On Saturday 19 September we have planned a picturesque tour around the Cotswolds. The tour is open to individual classic cars or groups. The tour starts at the Royal Oak in Gretton and returns to Winchcombe with a stop off at the Rennsport Showroom located

in Moreton in Marsh. En route there is an opportunity to pause at a number of interesting beauty spots and take in some refreshment.

Sunday 20th September Classics at Prescott

The main event takes place on Sunday when from 10am the paddock entries will start their hill runs. When not on the hill these lovely classic cars will be parked in the paddock and can be viewed at close quarters. At the same time there will be a static display of classic cars in the orchard and at lunchtime a gentle cavalcade of these cars will go up the hill so everyone can admire them in motion.

COVID UPDATE:  As a consequence of the  Government restrictions we will unfortunately not be able to welcome spectators to this years event.

Come along as a Spectator

Come along as a Spectator to the main event on Sunday, gates are open to Spectators from 9am and at 10am the paddock entries will start their hill runs.

The Prescott site provides great viewing opportunities across all parts of the track and there is plenty of on-site catering available from the Bugatti Clubhouse or, bring a picnic.

There is ample car parking on site. Entry is by donation (£15) for a car and all it's passengers. You can pay on the day or pre-book and receive a 20% discount.

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed anywhere on site.
