CLASSICS AT PRESCOTT
9 -10 May 2026
The 23nd Annual Classics at Prescott event run by Winchcombe Rotary Club will once again be held in Spring 2026 taking place at the home of the Bugatti Owners' Club, the Prescott Hill Climb. This event is organised and operated totally by volunteers and raises money for Rotary supported charities. Over the years it has raised over £420.000 as well as providing a great day out for Classic Car enthusiasts.
ENTRIES ARE PLANNED TO OPEN ON NOVEMBER 1st 2025
About the event
Many thanks to everyone who took part in our 2025 event. We were once again spoilt by great whether, bumper attendance and no serious incidents. Over 200 cars took on the Hill and we are always amazed by the diversity of cars, and their owners, who attend our event and we are very grateful. We switched the start point of our Saturday Tour to Ye Olde Hobnails at Little Wasbourne this year. This was due to the Tours popularity and increased entries which could not fit into our previous location. This year focused on North Cotswolds and was very well received. The main event on Sunday once again raised substantial funds for Rotary supported Charities and the cumulative total of monies generated for charity from the event is now in excess of £420,000. We also had another visit from a film crew on the day. They were filming for an episode of " Mike Brewer, Wheeler Dealers" which will be shown on Discovery+ in the summer.
Our event is planned and managed totally by unpaid volunteers including increased help from Rotary Club of Bishops Cleeve and several Friends of Rotary to whom we are most grateful. This help will ensure we can continue to hold this event well into the future.
Entry Rules
The 2026 event will run on similar lines to recent years with a Tour on Saturday and the main event at Prescott on the Sunday. Qualification for any of the activities is unchanged, cars must be aged 25 years or greater. They must be road legal i.e., taxed, appropriately insured and MOT'd. Checks are made to ensure cars are road legal to meet our licence requirements. Drivers must hold a full driving licence. Drivers and Passengers who participate in the Hill Climb must also obtain a Motorsport UK licence details of which will be given on application to take part. Exceptions will be made to the 25 year age rule for interesting younger vehicles at the organisers discretion.
Applications from Classic Car Clubs are also very welcome
We continue to be focused on providing a great day out for Classic Car enthusiasts and raising funds for Rotary Supported Charities and your support over the years is much appreciated.

Saturday 9th May Classic Cotswold Tour
On Saturday 19th May we will plan a picturesque tour around the Cotswolds. The tour is open to individual classic cars or groups. The tour starts from a local pub who will provide pre tour refreshment before taking on a circular route around the Cotswolds and returning to Winchcombe. Distance is about 80 miles and the tour guide provided will make suggestions about suitable stop off points along the way. This creates the opportunities to pause at a number of interesting beauty spots and catering opportunities.
Sunday 10th May Classics at Prescott
The main event takes place on Sunday when from 10am the paddock entries will start their hill runs. When not on the hill these lovely classic cars will be parked in the paddock and can be viewed at close quarters. At the same time there will be a static display of classic cars in the orchard and at lunchtime a gentle cavalcade will go up the hill so everyone can admire the Orchard cars in motion.
